All Good All Bad View

I feel like my whole life only two categories existed: good and bad. I mean, every person, situation, place, or experience was directly labeled as good or bad. No grey area existed in my understanding of reality. As surface level as this may seem, there’s actually a deeper significance. From a Kabbalistic point of view, it’s your vessel’s capacity to ground the light it holds.

You’re a channel for light, but you can only hold as much as your cup is willing to accept. The light is all of the abundant aspects in life, such as your desires. When you view the world as only good or only bad, your vessel goes from one extreme to the other. In other words, your channel contracts or expands all the time without having the ability to stay still. It’s like having a cup holding water on an unstable table that constantly moves and spills the water.

For the table to stop moving, you need to either hold it or stabilize it in some type of way. That’s exactly the same with your vessel. You need to ground it with meditation or any other practices and notice each time you try to classify a person, situation, or circumstance as good or bad.

With that being said,

I hope you use this information,

Diana
